It looks like Timothy Yost’s luck is turning around again. Earlier this year he found a bag of cash and gold coins totaling over $70, 000. On Tuesday, the City Council of Bastrop, Texas unanimously decided that he could keep the money after a vote.
On May 29, Yost was reportedly arrested for public intoxication so he was not able to get his money and gold right away as he was still behind bars.
Yost originally found the money and gold coins on the banks of the Colorado River in Bastrop, Texas. The money was confiscated by the Police who then attempted to find it’s rightful owner. Since no one has claimed the money, Yost is now deemed its rightful owner.
