Fight Between Jewish Woman and Black Girl Almost Starts a Race Riot

A Jewish woman and a Black teenage girl were both arrested after they got into an altercation in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn, NY. The Jewish woman, Sara Mina Setton, is said to be a teacher at the Beis Rivkah High School in Brooklyn.

The Black teenage girl is reported to have thrown a glass bottle in a neighborhood park and Setton, the teacher, responded by punching her. The altercation reportedly caused a group of Black people to come to the teenager’s defense, almost causing a riot. Setton is reported to have been arrested first when the Police arrived at the scene, much to the approval of the Black crown who cheered as she was arrested. The Black teenage girl was also arrested, shortly after.

It is reported that Setton, who was accompanied by her father, exchanged racial slurs with the growing crowd before she was arrested.
